Julian Jones - Development Director

Development Director Julian joined  in 1996 and brings 30 years’ experience with National House Buildersat a senior level. Involved with all major land acquisitions within the Division he is also experienced in affordable housing, negotiating S106 and windfall sites with Local Authorities and RSL’s. Julian is a fellow of the Faculty of Building; Incorporate of The Chartered Institute of Building; a member of The Association for Project Safety and sits on numerous Developer and Local Authority forums.  


Stuart Goodwill - Head of Planning  


Stuart is an experienced Chartered Planner who has excellent knowledge of the planning system having worked in botht he Public and Private sectors. Bringing his professional planning expertise to the team will ensure the Division maximises planning opportunities and manage the planning process more effectively.


Stuart’s strengths will enable us to focuson more strategic opportunities whilst delivering on short term planning objectives and responding proactively to an ever changing political environment.


Sam Thixton - Graduate Land Buyer


Sam joined the business in 2013 as part ofthe Barratt Developments Graduate Programme following graduation from Cardiff Metropolitan University. He spent his first two years on rotation, where he experienced all of the disciplines within the business, gaining a thoroughgrounding in the planning and building of new developments.  


Anthony Dimmick - Community Liaison Officer


Anthony plays a front line role, being theinitial point of contact between the Division and Local Communities and hasworked on a number of successful schemes for the Division. 


Lisa Hanvey - PA / Community Liasion Administrator


Lisa assists the Planning function in booking halls, being the face of the team at the front desk in community presentations and dealing with localism enquiries.
