A couple from Whiteley are now living in their dream home, thanks to an innovative scheme that gives first-time buyers and existing homeowners access to competitively priced mortgage products.

Olivia and her partner Billy, both 32, bought their first home together in Whitely but, explained Olivia, “It was a two-bed new build and we grew out of it quite quickly. We knew we wanted children in the future and we already have a dog. We needed room to grow.”

The couple’s first concern was whether they could afford to move, so they had their home assessed by an estate agent, who told them about David Wilson Homes’ Forest Walk development in Curdridge. “It was just up the road from where we were living,” said Olivia, “so we decided to take a look.”
